Ready to pour concrete to Level 8 on the north tower!
Today concrete was poured to the Podium level at Ruby. This is a major construction milestone, as from now on you will start to see two distinct towers rising from the podium level.
Concrete has now been poured to level 3 at Ruby! The next big milestone is not far away now – the podium on level 4.

Construction really starting to take shape now.
Great news for the Gungahlin region in the past week with the federal government announcing that it will be relocating Defence Housing Australia (DHA) to the Gungahlin Town Centre. DHA has approximately 300 employees which will be a welcome boost for the local economy. A location for the office is yet to be decided.
This week, the first of the ground floor tilt panels are being installed. These are pre-fabricated panels with cut outs for the windows and doors.

Concrete has been poured to the basement level of the North Tower.
Today the tower crane was assembled and installed on site at Ruby.
Today the builders poured the first concrete slab at Ruby.
The digger has been working hard at Ruby and the basement level is now complete. Construction is now on it’s way up! In the photo above, Ruby is the site where the green digger is, and Infinity Towers is behind it.
More than half the properties at Ruby are now sold! There are still some terrific purchasing opportunities to be had but you will need to be quick. These apartments have proved to be very popular and are selling fast.
Earthworks continue to hum along out at the Ruby site. With the holiday break now done and dusted, Core Building are forging ahead with the Ruby development.

A big milestone for the Canberra City to Gungahlin light rail project has been reached – the first rail tracks have now been laid on Flemington Road.
Test tracks were initially laid at the intersection of Nullarbor Ave and Flemington Road, and once they were given the tick of approval, the construction team could begin the large scale install of the remaining rails.
